Our table setting represented the colour-scheme and vibe of RLabs Beauty: light purple hues, with fairy lights, and pretty centrepieces. We wanted everyone who visited us on Open Day to feel relaxed, safe, and a little bit special.
Networking Date Night
Our first Networking Date Night of the year took place on Wednesday, 25 May 2022, via Zoom.
Pushing through technical difficulties and load shedding schedules the evening turned out to be a beautiful and memorable event.

Cohort 5 are now officially VIP graduates after their ceremony took place last week on 24th November 2021.
The Virtual Incubation Program is a program designed by women for women. It covers 7 different modules through one-on-one coaching. The program guides women through different aspects of their business from Business Model Canvas, Social Media, Branding, to Pitching.

This is the desire of every single female entrepreneur who has come through our Virtual Incubation Programme. A desire to see the next generation empowered and ready to ignite change and to dominate every space they enter into.
In order to be this inspiration, we have to strive to do more. To be more. To aspire to more. The reality is that the “more” we require is already inside every woman because we have been designed to create and to give birth to it.

Virtual Incubation Program Cohort 3
April, 2021During the month of April 2021, our Cohort 3 entrepreneurs went through 2 weeks of intense sessions in the Virtual Incubation Program. Our Virtual Incubation Program (VIP) consists of 7 topics that take the participants through different parts of their business.
The purpose is to guide women entrepreneurs through different areas of their businesses and encourage them to talk through what they would like to accomplish. Each day they were required to complete various tasks using templates, presentations, videos, etc.
We kicked off the program on the 12th of April with 6 participants: Eleanor Noble, Tayane Lee Williams, Quanita Salaam, Taryn Kriel, Shamila Cajee, Melissa Miller.

After a very eventful (hacked) Virtual Date Night event in May this year, before we knew it, it was time for the next event! This time around we were taking back our space with the theme of #TakeUpSpace2.

We kicked off the evening with a live broadcast on RLabs Radio (which you can listen to at RLabs.fm) hosted by our awesome Live team. We, of course, had to have the ladies do some networking and getting to know each other, make connections, and all those good things. Another one of our Design my Brain for Business modules! We decided to create this module because we believe every business needs to be on social media to have a presence, and to reach/engage a greater community for business exposure, thus we called it Social Media for Business.
In this module of Design my Brain for Business, the ladies looked at their business blueprint and asked themselves the following questions:
RLabs Women had their second module of Design My Brain for Business from 28th September – 5th October 2019. This module, Design My Brand Kit, was created by RLabs Women with the goal being to help women build their business brand and become successful entrepreneurs.
RLabs Women kicked off their brand new course on the 7th of September 2019. It’s called Design my Brain for Business, which is an 8-week course consisting of 5 modules. The course as a whole was created by RLabs Women with the goal to help women build their business from point A to point Z and become successful entrepreneurs.
RLabs Women currently offers Geeky Moms under its Digi Women programme. This is the longest-running course within the RLabs Academy. It originally started out as “Mom 2.0” in September 2008 giving 20 moms a new experience to engage with technology for the first time with the belief that it was also the beginning of greater things in our community.
RLabs Women hosts a Networking Date Night every quarter. Our event held on the 28th of August 2019 was our biggest RLabs Women event thus far, with over 75 women in attendance. As the RLabs Women team we want women to be able to connect with other like-minded women in a fun and open space.
