RLabs Women Virtual DateNight 3

Our last Virtual Networking Date Night took place on the 25th November 2020. Being our last event of the year, we decided to end with a bang!

We had 5 ladies pitch their business ideas and after an audience poll, 3 business were chosen as the winners. These businesses will be part of our Virtual Incubation Program (VIP) next year. Once they complete the program they will each receive a cash investment. Towards the end of the evening, our Billionaire surprised us with an announcement that ALL 5 shortlisted ladies in our pitching competition will be a part of the VIP Program in 2021.

The RLabs Women Team had an unexpectedly deep panel discussion where they spoke about their personal experiences in 2020. The diverse range of topics included your third space, being a single woman, sisterhood, being an independent woman, and modern family values. 

Our guest speaker for the evening was our very own Mover and Shaker, Rene Parker. Her talk with our host, Christine, was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. From her love for teen romance books to her journey as a woman and the pressures of society. We got to know a lot more about Rene in a short space of time.
